Project Check-in
This is a warmup activity that we will repeat weekly until the end of the semester.
Please submit a short update on your project on Canvas. This update should be “something that works” about your project that demonstrates your achievement so far. It doesn’t have to be big: an early plot, a successful data import, or any other small piece of code that runs correctly is all that is required.
Part A
Submit a screencap of your plot, functional code, or other progress. Please include a short paragraph describing what you are showing and why it is important to your group’s progress.
Part B
Please be ready to demonstrate your progress to your warmup group during class. This means that you need to be able to run the code in front of your group. Be ready to explain what they are seeing.
Please keep in mind that you may not be in the same warmup group as your project partners. This means that:
- The code you show needs to run on your laptop or in your compute instance (e.g. Google Colab).
- You need to be ready to explain what is being shown, even if your project partners did much of the work.
